NFL Week 6 Predictions: Will Falcons rout Dolphins? 10/15/17

The Miam Dolphins completed an epic comeback to beat the Atlanta Falcons 20-17. When Ryan was picked off by Dolphins safety Reshad Jones late in the game, it sealed the Dolphins' 20-17 win.

Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan was on point in the first half, completing 15 of 21 passes for 151 yards, including a deep ball to newly promoted Marvin Hall for a 40-yard touchdown.

In the first quarter, it appeared the Dolphins were able to contain the Falcons rushing attack.

Parkey put the Dolphins (3-2) ahead for the first time with 2:30 remaining, booting a 38-yard field goal after a gusty play by receiver Jarvis Landry, who was hit by six players but still managed to power ahead for a crucial first down.

Cutler had his first multiple-touchdown game of the season, but also through an interception for the fourth-straight game. Atlanta ranks among the top 10 in rushing defense, as well as third-down efficiency. Julio Jones (hip flexor) and Mohamed Sanu (hamstring) were both injured before the bye, and the Falcons might lean heavily on running backs Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman. Miami will return home next week to face the Jets in an early season rematch.

In his second season, linebacker Deion Jones continues to make plays for the Falcons' defense.

-Dolphins DT Ndamukong Suh, who has 10 tackles and one sack, vs. Falcons RG Wes Schweitzer, who will be making his fifth NFL start: Suh will be the best player that Schweitzer has seen since going against Chicago's Akiem Hicks in the regular-season opener. Jay Ajayi had a great day for Miami with 26 carries for 130 yards on the ground. Without Mike Pouncey who missed the second half with a concussion, Miami stormed down the field to take the opening second half drive for a touchdown.

Bryant is in his ninth year with the Falcons. That number shows how this was the first time they played complementary football - defense get the ball to the offense and the offense scoring. But they look a lot better than the 8-for-14 passing for 64 yards (and 39 rating) he had in the first half. Miami LB Kiko Alonso had a sack and a forced fumble last week. However, the Bills pressured Ryan in Week 4, forcing turnovers that won them the game.
