Liverpool pair face battle to be ready for Man United game

The Reds announced earlier this year that the current Centenary Stand would be renamed after the former player, manager and club servant in recognition of the Scot's contribution to Liverpool, both on and off the field.

There could be no more fitting a tribute to Kenny Dalglish than for the stand named in his honour at Anfield to be officially unveiled on the day Manchester United come to visit.

"He gets Liverpool, he gets the humour. Tuttomercatoweb reports that both Spurs and the Reds have sent scouts to watch the player and have been suitably impressed"'.

Liverpool have not won a home Premier League encounter against Manchester United since September 2013 when Daniel Sturridge's solitary strike was enough to earn the Merseyside outfit all three points.

Klopp is clearly aware of Liverpool's defensive malaise as he spent most of the close-season engaged in a failed attempt to sign Southampton centre-back Virgil van Dijk. And has Klopp really lived up to the hype?

"I think Klopp is the hand-in-glove type guy".

However, that defence will struggle to keep Harry Kane quiet. He's a standard-bearer. He's admired because he's genuine and wears his heart on his sleeve. If he continues that form, Tottenham should just squeak a win.

-Finally, ESPN FC links a story from the Daily Mirror which instructs us to take the Adrien Rabiot rumors with a grain of salt. Defending is a team effort and that it starts from the front.

He's always been good in attack, but I haven't seen much defensive improvement.

Dejan Lovren and Ragnar Klavan have been directly at fault for goals, while goalkeepers Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius have had negative comments aimed at them for their performances.

He said, "No (he shouldn't get sacked at the end of the season)".

United's Belgian number nine has the physicality that Kane lacks but the England man has a different style to his counterpart.

If Can does decide to leave, then Manchester United will have some stiff competition for his signature, as Serie A giants Juventus were heavily linked with a move for the 23-year-old during the summer.
