Battle of egos as Neymar and Cavani clash over set pieces — WATCH

And now we have Neymar playing the role of Drama Queen, apparently unfollowing Cavani on Instagram.

That puts them on a six match win streak, three points clear of Monaco. Lyon defended well and prevented Neymar from making his mark while Cavani had only a few touches.

The pair also had a dispute over a free-kick, and this was even more embarrassing for Neymar.

They were rewarded by their all-round efforts with a 5-0 victory.

"If there is no agreement, I will decide".

It then squandered a golden opportunity to score when Marcelo headed straight at Areola from Ferland Mendy's teasing free-kick.

"Several players are capable of taking penalties". Dani Alves is a fine full-back, Adrien Rabiot is a dominant midfielder as is Marco Veratti.

The scene was set in the 48th minute.

I tell you what, their keeper Alphonse Areola also really looks the part.

The centre-back has played 42 times for PSG, his hometown club, albeit only once in the Champions League.

Neymar's arrival gives them one of the top five players on the planet with the type of experience necessary to bring down powerhouses Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, and others.

"I think they are going to speak and come to an agreement". And he does follow other PSG players.

"The truth is there's no problem at all". Lo Celso came on and created the opener almost immediately.

"It was the same as usual from Neymar", Lustig told the Daily Record.

"Of course, everybody is free, I'm not a guy to say 'ban that, ban that'".

PSG enjoyed most of the possession but its attacking "MCN" trident of Kylian Mbappe, Cavani and Neymar was not as flamboyant as in previous matches. I don't want to see disrespect for team-mates, the opposition, the club, for the fans, for the issues happening in the world.

Sure, there has been negativity because of the fella who ran onto the pitch at Parkhead. Sooner or later Neymar's place as PSG's unquestioned leader will be recognized, with or without Cavani's assent.

Someone not having such a good time of it currently is Patrice Evra, who was dropped for Marseille's victories over Konyaspor and Amiens this week. But there are bigger things at stake than claiming L'Hexagoal, namely the egos of some of the side's featured cast.
